PSA - Admin vs DR?

DR was banned due to repeated infringements of the basic rules.

It’s worth noting that he has subsequently apologized to the Bike Hub community and the moderation team. Unfortunately, this is just too late.

What to avoid? Be decent to one another. It may be “just the internet”, but Bike Hub is a community. We can agree or disagree, share stoke or outrage, but always remember on the other end of that pseudonym is another human who just loves riding bikes.

Cool beans. Thanks

His last posts seemed fairly inconspicuous (when looking through the profile page) so it wasn't very evident what had happened.

Good to hear he made amends.

Never realised he is a bit of a troll, completely missed the offending posts

must admit, this is a complete surprise to me. I must have had blinkers on, but hadn't noticed anything banworthy.

bikehub got them rules, follow them and it's a better place for all. (I'm doing my best to stop saying **** and **** and **** here. **** is not really a swear word, especially if you can still type Zuma).

Hiding behind a pseudonym is no reason to say nasty things without consequences.

I didnt see any of those posts but can understand these decisions are not taken lightly.

What I love about this community is that it isnt a place of constant fighting, there are a lot of really great people here.

If you compare this to many other South African forums, this is a much happier place and keeping it that way is something I would always support.
