PaulVS and rude comments

Breekwater

Recommended Posts

It concerns me that some members of the hub constantly tries to make jokes of items being advertised for sale. Some of them goes so far that it becomes really rude and personal. Please treat this as a professional service to the cycling community and try not to negatively influence the other person's sale, even if you don't think it is a good deal. If you want to talk rubbish all day and gossip, then I am sure you can find other sites. These same people also like making negative remarks about any equipment that is old, small frame size etc etc. Let the buyer decide if he likes it. I mention PaulVS as one of the main culprits, but there are others as well. I wonder if these people would have the backbone to exhibit this type of behaviour in places other than the safe and anonymous internet...

Breekwater, I think you protest a little too much. Paul might have been out of line, but if you don't want feedback on your sale, use gumtree.

I air my views and I do not post in anonymity.  Sometimes people ask stupid or laughable prices.  As if they want to lessen what they need to take out of the pocket for the new bike.

smiley36.gif smiley36.gif good one, but I really need that emoticon where it's lying on the floor wiggling its legs.

Professional.....Hub... oh stop it, I can't see the screen for the tears in my eyes.

Indeed, but I'd say constructive comments welcome... not random flaming of something that someone's trying to sell. If you have an issue, PM the guy. Don't write 20 comments worth of inflammatory bullsh*t and torpedo his sale.

this just gets me laughing.... someone starts a topic, with little posts to his name, throw oil on the fire and then........ he goes offline, scared to see what his actions may or not may be.......

or maybe he scared for the comments he will get and get the feeling he just made an ass of himself.......

i just hate it when this happens.... come on breekwater, you started the topic, why run away from the responses?

No, the starter of the thread is still sitting in the audience. I agree that MEANINGFUL comments are welcome, it makes things much more interactive than Gumtree.
