  1. Does anyone know if there are jumps or some random trails I can ride my enduro bike in or near Dain Fern. Also if there is anyone who rides enduro/downhill here please let me know
  2. I never go for a ride without knee pads. You can get the more trail orientated knee pads which slide on like a sleeve and have a dense foam "pad" to protect your knee, i.e Fox Enduro. The other option is more robust. They have straps and a plastic piece to protect your knee, i.e Fox Launch Pro. The latter option is much less comfortable but definitely gives more protection.
  3. Here's a hack I learned for grips that get lose and move around (especially esi grips). 1. Put some double sided tape on the bars under the grip and remove that plastic covering 2. Spray some windowlene on the tape (it will temporarily take the stickiness away but work fast else the grips will be stuck on half way ) 3. As fast as humanly possible; put the grips back on
  4. Howzit I'm a local shredder here in Hermanus but I ride enduro/downhill. I know the trails aren't great for that but riding alone isn't fun. So if anyone (who is a local here) is keen to ride just send me a message. I know I can't be the only person here who rides enduro/downhill
  5. I run a set of Nukeproof Ards that got brought over from the UK the rim defence is unbeatable considering how thick they are however my only issue is that they dont sit nicely in the wheel and tend to rattle around a bit, they are advertised to shrink to fit after a few hours of being exposed to the pressure but that never properly happened to mine.
  6. What I've found is that most baggies are designed to be used with baggie liners because they have the more rough material waist band that holds the baggies up
  7. Hi, does anyone have a set of slip on knee pads? not the ones with straps.
  8. Does anyone know if or when the WCES will be this year?
  9. We've had family and friends driving in and out of cape town and the Overberg over the last few weeks and they haven't had any problems going through. I know it's not legal at the moment but there seems to be no road blocks.
  10. Hi fellow hubbers. I have my eye on a giant trance 3 for sale on the hub and it comes with a SR Suntour Aion 35 fork. I don't know much about the fork and i can't find much online so is there anyone here who could tell me anything about it. Thankyou.
