Just a heads up to please be vigilant on the Bloemendal/Durbanville road. My buddy and I escaped a bike jacking attempt on Saturday morning heading towards the intersection at Durbanville Hills wines coming from Burgundy Estate. Two individuals came towards us and suddenly the one pulled a knife and charged towards us. Luckily we managed to swerve around them, but my buddy had to go wide and landed in the grass area on the side of the road before getting back into the tar road. One of the individuals gave chase for about a 100 metres before giving up. Needless to say we were rattled good and proper after that. I know there are a lot of cyclists/runners using that road towards Contermanskloof/Durbanville so just a timely reminder to please be vigilant. We had a very close shave...

Still on the hunt for a nice pair of baggies. I have read a couple of reviews on Westpeak baggies which seems good. Does anyone have any experience with them? Also I don't see much stock on their website. Is there any way of contacting them (apart from Facebook messenger which I used this morning)?

Anyone know of any good deals on mtb baggies at the moment? I have been looking at the Fox range as I have heard good reviews, but everyone is out of stock. Any other suggestions for good quality baggies or where I might be able to find a pair of the Fox baggies?

I had this same issue. Clicking noise for a month and after servicing bottom bracket, front hub, headset and rear hub it turned out to be the seatpost. Simple but worth a shot to check.

Any thoughts on a Vittoria Barzo/Saguaro combo 29 X2.25? Or rather Barzo front and back?

I am thinking of doing this ride next weekend from George to Knysna. Anything I should be aware of on the route? Might be doing it solo, bad idea?
