Event Name: Greyton Trail Town Take Over When: 29 June 2019 Where: Greyton - Hub and Spoke, Western Cape Category: MTB has revealed some rather epic trails worthy of all day excursions. It’s pretty simple really, bring your steed and a crew, pick a pace and enjoy….no pressure! We’ve scouted the territories and marked the trails, all you’ve gotta do is join us! This day is about bringing the community together somewhere new, riding our bikes and of course…Beer. We’re pretty sure you’ll enjoy what the trail destination of Greyton has to offer! FYI, we’re hunting downs so will likely avoid them ups where possible. Start : 08:00 Saturday 29/6/2019 outside Hub & Spoke (POA : all day exploration around the mountains, seeking more aggressive trails) End : 14:00 – 17:00 or when you’re tired and want to hit the pub. 20:00 : Official Dinner & Beers at a Pub or Venue yet TBC. BRING a R20 note. Don’t forget this. Event Name: EWC 3 Jonkershoek Enduro When: 6 October 2019 Where: Jonkershoek Trail Centre, Western Cape Category: Enduro Round 3 and it's a big one. We have South African Enduro Champs, Western Cape Champs and a first ever Enduro World Series qualifier event all on South African soil. We're heading deep in the Jonkershoek mountains to a stellar setting that plays host to the 5 stage enduro race which will include descending and well, more descending. The stages are not going to be easy cause it's 100% enduro time. Remember to wear all your standard protective gear and take note that if you're new to the sport, take it easy and you'll be fine. However, if you're racing to beat your bro's and girl's then prep yourself as JHK can get rough and wild at speed. Event Name: EWC 2 Hoogekraal Enduro When: 21 July 2019 Where: Hoogekraal, Western Cape Category: Enduro Round 2 and it's going get more technical. We head over to Tygerberg's Hoogekraal Farm. A rocky, dusty, technical trail that plays host to the 5 stage enduro race which will require some speed and style to get you through the day. Remember to wear all your standard protective gear and take note that if you're new to the sport, take it easy and you'll be fine. However, if you're racing to beat your bro's and girl's then prep yourself as Hoogies can get rough and wild at speed. Event Name: EWC 1 Contermanskloof Enduro When: 9 June 2019 Where: Contermanskloof Trail Centre, Western Cape Category: Enduro Round 1 and we're starting off the season in 5th gear. Round 1 of the 2019 season starts at Tygerberg's Contermanskloof Farm. A beautiful setting that plays host to the 5 stage enduro race which will include descending and well, more descending. The race organisers have been working on some new stages so it won't be the same as last year. Remember to wear all your standard protective gear and take note that if you're new to the sport, take it easy and you'll be fine. However, if you're racing to beat your bro's and girl's then prep yourself as Conties can get rough and wild at speed.
