  2. Looking for a pair of Rudy Project Racing White with Photochromic Lenses, can you pleasse help me out? Thanks, M
  3. Ok, doc finally did a X-ray today. Still waiting for the report (doc will phone me tomorrow morning) But the radiologist indicated to me on the x-ray that something is defiantly odd. Just something of interest. When I go to the chiro (this happens at EVERY visit) my right leg is about 4cm shorter than the other. When she is done with me both legs are the same length. 2 days later when I go for my next vistit the leg is 4 cm shorter again.
  4. Port Elizabeth My GP (Sport Doc) - Konrad Von Hagen Chiro - Candice Dugmore
  5. Nope.. pain killers and anti inflammatory not working at all. Not even 1% Visits to Chiro not helping for the leg. Can feel a huge difference in my neck after she "clicks me in" but not the lower back / leg!
  6. I'm 28, female. My lower leg = cold, slightly whiter than the other
  7. Correct !! According to the doc and chiro it is the SI Joint causing all the problems. Today will be my 9th visit to the chiro but still in so much pain :’( I was wondering if a CT scan or MRI will indicate where the sciatic nerve is pinching? And if we know where its stuck try ART (active release technique) to get it loose again??
  8. Ok, so I think I know what’s wrong with me but would like to find out what the hubbers think Symptoms: •Feeling that you have a bad, persistent cramp in the leg (shin, clave, hammy and quad). •Feeling pain when I sit – running from my lower back to my foot. •Feeling of general weakness in the leg – no power in my right leg at all it even hurts when I cycle with the left leg only; feels like my muscles don’t get any blood flow / oxygen •Feeling numbness or having a "pins and needles" sensation in the leg. – This now happens ALL the time even when I sleep •Feeling a burning or tingling sensation that runs down the leg. – This now happens ALL the time even when I sleep Treatment for the past 3 weeks: • I put ice on my lower back / bum 3 – 4 times a day • after ice I put iceman on. • I stretch daily on a regularly basis. • Doc gave me cortisone injection about 10 days ago . • I’ve been drinking veltex anti inflammatory for 5 days, • I’ve been off the bike for more than 2 weeks. Tried to cycle again Yesterday but it hurt like hell!! • I go to the chiropractor 2 – 3 times a week • Massage with arnica every day Results so far: Nothing is helping – it just keeps on getting worse and worse. Doc now wants to refer me to a neurosurgeon – I don’t like the sound of that Would really appreciate your input !! Thanks
  9. um, whats my baby blue doing on the hub??? Must admit love my bike!
  10. I had meniscus tears in both knees fixed in 2000 and then AGAIN in 2006. We also had to stretched my ITBs both legs 75%. Recovery with NO training not even swimming for a year, then after that I had to do a rehab / strengthening program for 6 months thereafter I started Training Slowly. Did Ironman in 2009 and to date still no knee problems. Best of luck! P.S try to keep your cartilage for as long as possible!!
  11. Well I am a new subscriber. Received my second magazine a few days ago and I didn't even receive a free gift. Any answers to this?
  12. I must agree on this. I took my HRM to Polar about a week ago for a battery replacement. I received Outstanding Service from them. They really strive for Service Excellence. Tx a mill Polar!!!<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  13. Hi all,<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> anyone interested in a training partner over weekends for LSDs? I recently moved to PE and I'm now recovered from my knee operations so I need a training partner willing to take it slow at first.
  14. When is it the best time to do a Lactate threshold test? <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Totally unfit Fit Super Fit I know you can do a test every 4 to 6 weeks. Also, what is a reasonable price to pay for such test?
