  5. Cant agree more with you donovan. I was also way of the pace but love how competitive the field is. Give us goals to work to.
  6. This was an awesome event and venue. Loved everybit. Was racing at its best. I started in the subvet category and was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. My last xco event was 12 years back and did not know what to expect. Really enjoyed every minute of it. Nice and hard racing. Can really recommend this format of mtb If all goes well I will be on the start line at rhebokskloof on the 25th of Feb.
  7. Been testing the socks on a few rides now. Super comfy and stylish. Awesome fit. Highly recommended.

  10. Thank you BC bicycles on the excellent service. My bike was in a bad state and after Bertus took a whole day get my bike in a excellent condition. Thought I had a new bike when I saw the bike again for the first time. A week after my bike been to BC bicycles I rode in Hermanus on the Hemel and Aarde track. When I came down one of the downhills my dropout hanger broke of. I phoned Bertus and told him about this unfortunate incident. He organized a dropout hanger for me and fitted it the next day. I was back on the gravel road in no time. Guys you can support BC bicycles. I will use Bertus as my bike mechanic for any repairs and upgrades on my bike in the future. Good luck BC Bicycles. For your passion for the sport we love you will make a success.
  11. It was really tough. I held back on the first big climbs and when i hit that tecnical climb at around 50 km I could see a lot of guys went out to hard and underestimated the toughness of the course. I did the Barberton ride also and the Sabie was in a different class and the times shows it. generally much slower. But enjoyed it really. I did it on a 29er and I think it made a big difference especially on the flats and downhills. But was also a very tough day on my mountain bike..
