  1. I'm really sorry for the guy. He was crying in agony sitting on the floor for everyone to hear. It must be massively painful, both physically and mentally, especially after all the preparations and focus on the classics this season. Mark this post for future reference: he is going to come back a Man Possessed. Wish him a speedy recovery.
  2. FFS! Seems his Classics season is over.
  3. Cool, understood. But for the love of all things proportional and geometrically sound, please consider mounting the handlebars at 45° or at the very least 30°. This 20° nonsense hurts my eyes.
  4. Asking on behalf of my OCD: Why are the handlebars not mounted straight? PS: Love your solution, I just throw the bike in haphazardly when I put it inside the SUV. This looks much better.
  5. I wasn't necessarily asking the riders to give it to him, but rather appealing to the forefathers/cycling gods/Murphy that his luck is clean on the day and he doesn't puncture at the worst point like last year...
  6. Literally all I want to see from this Classics season is WvA taking Paris Roubaix... It is time. MvdP and Pogacar can share the balance of races between them, but let Wout take this one please. It is similar to those years where Sagan in his prime kept missing out, until he properly smashed them.
  7. On RAI, I obviously couldn't understand a word, but: Michael Matthews had his interview before the start, and they were translating as he was speaking. His last words were something along the lines of "and hopefully I will be standing on the top step at the end of the day" The Italians couldn't contain their surprise, you could hear them snicker at the thought of Matthews thinking he has a chance. (I don't know Italian, but you could 'hear' their tone of voice.) He came very, VERY close!
  8. Poggio incoming, don't blink...
  9. 71km to go. Less than an hour until we get to the Cipressa...
  10. 110km to go. Those on DSTV can follow on RAI, channel 430

  12. So, if Pog wants to win this year, surely UAE will have to throw everything at the likes of MvdP on the Cipressa. I don't think Pog will solo attack from there, but they need to give him a fighting chance by blowing the field apart long before the Poggio.
  13. I have to say, two names shout the loudest on this list. Tadej, based on his form at Strade. And MvdP. The two of them will hammer it up the Poggio and my feeling is whichever one crests the top without the other one will take it. [Or I am completely wrong and Biniam Girmay wins it from a big bunch sprint...]
  14. I have discussed it with both parties on my side. -The entrant successfully submitted his qualifying time on the Comrades website, it was accepted. -The person making the claim admitted their error. As you were
