  7. There will be a night ride at Modders on Wednesday 14th of November 2012. Meeting at 33 High Street restaurant. from 6pm. See you there.
  8. The bike was bought in 2010, it is ridden a lot, by this particular customer. It has never had a major service since purchase, against the advise of our mechanics, past and present. This is all I have to say about this matter. The customer has been informed every time he brought the bike in for simple little fix's, since 2010 I might add, that sooner or later this type of excessive neglect in terms of major servcing and replacement of working parts. I challenge anyone to ride every weekend for 3 years and refuse to replace major parts, and when they completely pack up to then complain. It would seem after discussion with other stores, every single one of them seem to have "that customer"
  9. Furthermore please stop bashing the dealers that support the Specialized brand, stock issues are not controlled by the dealers it is a Distribution issue, ie the importers of the brand control the stock availability. We, as all other industries, are at the mercy of the Distribution networks. We obviosuly believe in this product and the benefits that it can generate for the riders that choose to utilise Specialized products, which is why we are passionate about the brand. If you have complaints forward them to me and I will pass them on to the distributor.
  10. Before embarking on this service, the customer was advised and fully notified of the extent of parts being replced. The following maintenance and replacement parts were done: Protune Service New Headset (all bearings) New Cassette New Chain New Chainrings (not just one) New FSR Bearing Kit New Free Wheel Body Tubeless Conversion Fork Suspension Service/Rebuild Rear Shock Service/Rebuild Total R5113.51 You decide if it is unreasonable or not.
  11. Just a big thank you to BANDIT SIGNS www.banditsigns.co.za for supplying us with our reflective arrows. Check out their website for all your branding requirements.
  12. The cost is the same as a normal ride R40, and you may use your multi entry card. Another shout out to the XCOSA series being held at Modder this weekend (Sat 13th October). Come try your hand on our new XC course.
  13. Was at the park earlier, looks like the rain has settled the dust. Should be fantastic conditions for the XCOSA event this weekend and then Night Ride next week.
