This turned out to be a lekker long read, I take everybody’s advice with regards to finance, I can pay it off monthly however the bike stays as shop but then have to wait 6 months, finance option from what I see using the calculator doesnt cost much more but then again I didnt read the small print. I guess I rather pay the shop off interest free and wait a little.

agree guys work together tired of being nice people yet we get conned. I got taken for almost 20k and I should put the guys name out there also.

Thanks guys i am not buying it, I was happy to pay the advertised price, it needed a little work I had no issues. I have the entire whatsapp chat and the photos i took off his advert.

Guess what happened now, Sais Joubert that was selling the Scott bike I liked cancels on me this morning. He had it advertised for a week or more for R13k. Here is his first message: Hi Sorry i made last decision not to sell the bike anymore I told him i am going to give a bad rating on BH he then says its ok. Now he sends me this message: If you willing to buy the bike for 15k you can still come view it ???? What do you guys think? Bad seller behavior or scammer?

Hi hubbers I am in the market for a road bike, find the two I like, first seller doesnt bother responding to messages, then decides not to sell. Find second bike yesterday, message seller, i ask questions and happy to purchase the bike now sends a message deciding not to sell. Why waste our time guys? We want to support members but it seems we get taken for stupids. Dont think I need to name and shame because before i could rate them they delete the adverts. Not sure if this has happened to anybody else. Thanks

Hi I need advice on what price to sell my two bikes, concorde is complete, Pinarello is track frame, missing the wheels but lovely bike. Thanks guys yes true I didn’t pay but it is something I wanted and price was good no lie. Aware of strike at airports but it’s 2 weeks now and a call would have been good.

Hi Hubbers, Not sure if this is the right place to post. Please see message below I posted on trader feedback and I have the entire message history on my phone. I am very interested in buying the MacBook from the seller and contacted him shortly after seeing advert. We spoke and he agreed I have first option, been messaging and calling non stop and he doesn’t bother responding. Eventually he says we can meet on the weekend (last weekend) and when contacting him he sends a message about can’t get a flight, I try calling he doesn’t take calls, I message on Hub and can see he was online today and still nothing. I suspect this guy is a scammer and if he wants to make this right he needs to do the honorable thing and return my calls and messages and let me know what is happening.

I also think pop in to a Vw dealer ship and they connect to computer and should point a fault. Everything so easy nowadays with computer diagnostics.
