  1. Hi, I recently had the misfortune of cracking the rear wheel of my beloved Mavic Cosmic Wheelset and am therefore in the market for a new one. Any advice on websites I could look at? Ideally I'd like to purchase brand new but don't want to take out a bond on my house for the purchase????. Brands I like are Mavic, Zipp, Enve and DT Swiss. They need to be strong and reasonably light. I would appreciate some tips. Thanks all. Regards, Kurt
  2. Shoo! I shouldn't be surprised after reading so many complaints on the hub but to a certain degree I actually am. Whilst I've visited and shopped from the store on numerous occasions I suppose one can put up with not being greeted or offered service by staff who are literally a few meters from you, not receiving a quote from a guy who on so many occasions you have left your details with and have asked on so many occasions to get you a price on the items you need and want, but to put up with this sort of service is just totally unacceptable! Shame on you CWC, things need to change within your organisation soon and very soon, or it certainly won't survive in these unprecedented times we're in.
  3. Hi, Anyone know where I can purchase this helmet locally, in Cape Town preferably? Regards, Kurt
  4. I have a brand new one for you but 170mm long and with 50/34 blades. Let me know if you're interested. Regards, Kurt
  5. I just purchased this from Wiggle with the help of a buddy abroad. After looking quite intensely for Etap upgrade here, then Red 22 I found nothing that wouldn't make me hold my ankles when one does price comparisons with overseas websites. Ended up getting it at a reasonable price but courier costs, vat and customs added quite a bit to the overall price. Was still cheaper all in all when one compares the price I would've paid for it here had I found stock anywhere!
  6. Something special about this phone that gives u the ability to do so or can any Samsung phone or tab do this?
  7. My story is too long and I don't have enough time to type it. Do yourselves a favour when dealing with this shop. Don't. Use another LBS instead. But if u absolutely have to don't deal with Glenn in the workshop. Ask for someone else. Then take a video of your bike, take it for a spin to know what is actually wrong then take some pics and also know exactly what was done on it and when it was done, prior to them working on it. They will try to rip u off and if you like me you will *** them out for attempting to bullsh*t you then they'll sabotage your bike to the point where you can't ride it properly. The Oom is nice but that's as far as it goes. The shop staff are the unfriendliest bunch of retail sales people I've ever come across and I certainly won't support them anymore. Will use their competitive pricing by purchasing the product from another willing retailer instead!
  8. Welcome back Ian. Or is it Twee now that its your return to Lehub.????????
  9. Yes. I just purchased an 11 speed Sram Red crank and have it setup with my 10 speed Sram Force. No hassles except when I sometimes go from small to big chain ring. The chain just needs to be not too high up on the cassette otherwise it takes too long to catch onto it. I therefore drop a few gears down in order for it to catch onto the big blade quicker then go lighter on the cassette if i need to. Not ideal I know but wanted to upgrade whole system but circumstances didn't allow me to, unfortunately.
  10. This please. https://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/sram-red-22-1190-cassette
  11. To answer the question. Hell no, please replace it within the next 30 seconds! It could have popped awhile ago already so I posted it just to highlight how easy it is to miss obvious problems.... To respond to this. I say an eye test is definitely needed as well!
