  3. My BMC FS02 26" rear triangle cracked. Justin sorted the warranty and a few weeks later (26") I received a brand new frame and triangle free of charge. My bike was 27 months old!!!! Good one on BMC!!!
  4. Swiss Cyles in Rosebank are the agents now. 011 880 2182 Speak to Justin http://www.swisscycles.co.za/
  5. Tried everything, havent been on a bike in 10 days... HR up above 120 resting.... but I am booked in for the weekend and gonna make the most of it. Will see tomorrow nite and decide!!!
  6. C for me. I am sick, so looks like I am gonna do the BEER thing al day long!!
  7. Thanks for the review. Going there this weekend. Preperation for the Magalies Monster! Will try to do the 30km 2/3 times, with some exploring towards Fouriesburg side!
  8. 20 Days Ladies!!!!! I can't wait anymore. 3 days at Buffelspoort with the family, and one awesome AFKAK ride on Saturday! My 3rd one. Maybe less cramping this year! Doesn't matter how they change the route.. Its gonna be hard. Remember, the Monster climb is the easy part (not that bad). The 45 odd km's after that climb is what kills you!!! Remember to pedal down the long 7-9km downhill..... Cramps galore if your legs are cold after that..!!!
  9. Thanks Guys... Ardents are the choice... Pity CWC don't take orders now... Could have them on the bike by 9AM...!!!!
  10. I have used only stans on 26r with Crossmarks for over 2 years. Like i said in beggining. No punctures in 13000 + km's. So i will stick with Stans... Cause I got a new 1L bottle in Garage.... Haha. Never had problems, and changed 3-4 sets of tires. So stick with what you know!!!
  11. Had 1 set of Ikon's. They didn't last as long as the Crossmarks, Crossmark grip in front a bit sketchy!! Weight I am not bothered about. I am 95avg, hopefully by Magalies I will be round 88 again, so a bit more on the wheel is no hassle. I rather rdie the whole race.. As 2 years in a row with no tire hassles.
  12. OK, so for the price R450 from CWC. the Ardent Lust or Ardent Race. I want a good reliable wheelset for the Magalies monster in 3 weeks time..... I see they don't like Stans Sealant... Maxxis
  13. I am a Maxxis Fan!!!! 14000km and no punctures on my Maxxis. 2 punctures.... 1st on a Schwalbe Rocket Ron 500-700km on tire Sidewall - almost 2.5yrs ago ..... 2nd on a Conti Race King 600-1000km on tire Sidewall - Today I done the Isuzu Ride the rock, and 7 races including the Magalies monster twice on one set of Maxxis Crossmarks. (Got a dedicated wheelset just for races) I want to dump the Contis for Maxxis.... (Contis were on the new bike!!!) What do you guys suggest other than the Crossmarks..... MAXXIS ONLY!!!
  14. Maybe a bit off topic... I start my 10 week Sufferfest program today. Did my FTP test last week to get your power rating. The music is good!!! You sit there watching all the spring classics!! and your resistance is custom to your FTP. Watts, speed, cadence, intervals, reports and more — all at your fingertips. No instructor upfront, if you cheat, you wasting your own money. Bike - Cycleops 300 Pro
