  1. Scumbags. And as usual, unless we the community do something nothing is done.
  2. Taken on the spruit with Iphone 6s Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Check with the Trailhead, they have a few demo bikes around.
  4. Ah makes sense. So there is no point in a GPS watch just get the heart rate tracking going properly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Sorry if its been asked before, but can';t find info: I use the Apple Watch outdoor cycling function to get my 300 points per ride, as it tracks activity with heart rate ave above a certain point and you get the points. The heart rate lately is becoming very erratic, and want ot change to a GPS device. Really like the TomTom Adventurer, but the discovery app says earn up to a 100 points per workout? Surely thats a joke? It does heart rate and GPS and then links to Strava? What points do you get with Garmin, Suunto and TomTom?
  6. A very happy purchase! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Finally got my baby, thanks to The Trailhead. Rocket Max frame modified by Cotic to Flare Max specs as there are no mediums available Reba 120mm 2x10 Praxis/Shimano drivetrain SLX brakes WTB Frequency i25 rims with Hope Pro 4 hubs Had a quickie and she rides like a dream!
  8. Here is my baby. Lots of upgrades and she is quite tough. Sadly about to get stripped as the frame is getting replaced by a Cotic. This one will go on sale then.
  9. So I'm about to pull the trigger on a Flare Max, gunmetal. Waiting for availability. Building stuff over from my current bike: Reba RL120 WTB Frequency i25 rims laced to Hope Pro 4 hubs Praxis 11-40 cassette with Shimano 38/26 front SLX Brakes KS Dropper Will post pics when done. Trailhead doing the supply and build. Hope it will be a sweet ride.
  10. My vote goes to the Pyga too. Shock position means jack. For toughness, I'd opt between a Pyga, Giant and Santa Cruz.
  11. Strava is only supported if you have a Garmin. I use strava on my phone for logging distance etc, and use my watch simply in outdoor cycle mode. That way I get the full 300 points per ride. Even in a gym class. There I just use indoor cycle mode. As long as you exceed 70% heart rate for 30+ minutes, you get 300 points per day.
  12. If you lost a helmet, pair of shades and a beanie at the Summer Fast One, describe them and if they are yours I have them safe and sound.
  13. Good fun event. The mud was....well mud. Picked up a helmet, a pair of shades and a beanie on the road near Klipriver drive. If you can describe them, they are yours.
