  1. They also have online workshops (theoretical)
  2. https://www.torqzoneacademy.com/
  3. With a good quality tool set, and some knowledge, you can do a lot of things yourself. You can even enroll in a bike mechanic workshop/course, and service your own bike. Do the math, and you will find that in the long term, you save a lot of money, and learned a new skill set.🍻
  4. Did you perhaps buy it from someone in Oudtshoorn....?
  5. So it being Friday and all, who else is getting super low-balled by Webuycycles? They are seriously irritating with their stupendous offers, and it makes me wonder if anybody can take their offers seriously.
  6. Oh but they are there, "upgrading" software, de-restricting their Ebikes, to claim a podium where there is only 2x riders🤦
  7. Just another 2c regarding social media( to which strava is leaning heavily towards). Most people just want to be liked and admired, where previous years a person would only wanted to be liked/admired by his/her immidiate audience, now that same person wants to be liked by 16xmillion people, and would go to extremes to achieve the goal. On FB reels you find girls exposing themselves, only to be liked. Strava-holes motor-pace segments, ride them with E-bikes ect to achieve that glorious KOM badge to receive kudo's galore, post them on IG and FB to get further recognition and praise. Then if another person "steals" the KOM, sometimes legitimately, the ride is being " flagged", or the rider is Doping, being lambasted.
  8. Kind of understand where she is coming from. Not every ride is a race, and not every ride is social. It is nice and lekker to ride with a group that like to have a chat today, coffee stop mid ride, and then the same group agrees that tomorrow is hammer day. It sucks though to join a group ride, and that one person makes a race out of it,just to beat a strava segment, then flag your ride when he bombed-out. Anyhow, be a lekkawaan, not a akkedoos🍻
  9. You also get pawl/spring replacement kits if you want to replace it. Then with regard to cleaning and lubing, I found Glue devil GD2 to work like a charm, cleans like a proper degreaser, and lubes as well (silicone). Side note: I regularly remove and clean my cassette and freebody, never had any issues with regard to the use of GD2, but that is my personal experience.
  10. Just do it,found a awesome deal on a 60mm carbon rear, and it alone makes a HUGE difference. Spoil yourself🍻
