  1. // I forsee many many shifter bits spred across many many work benches. //
  2. If the whole length of the thread is damaged there's not much you can do. If its just the first few threads you can clean it up, most good bike shops should have a pedal thread tap set, other wise you can just use the pedal, put it in from the back of the crank where the threads are clean, lots of lube, when it starts to bite, tighten, loosen, tighten, loosen, and hopfully the pedal spindles threads are long enough to go all the way through.
  3. Should Still be shifting properly at 5000 Kms, with eight and nine speed stuff you can pretty much run it until it starts slipping, slipping over the actual cog, not because the gears are set wrong
  4. Next time the cycle lab guys show somebody a video, please dirrect them to the browser, then this... cyclelab.com/the-difference.html
  5. Got a pair of Impact VXi's a couple months back, they're so grippy that they have stripped all the paint off my cranks, took like ten rides. Otherwise they are amazing
  6. Ritchey Cross is Sexy. They need to sacrifice that seat post and make it look sexier. The Detail one those frames is amazing. Shimano guys could do some dusting.
  7. Look Where you want to go, Bend your elbows, Get you'r ass off the saddle and bend your knee's Keep Breathing!! The rest is practice. Books do help clarify movements. TRASHZEN if you wanna be super boss
  8. Probably because if you cant see the tree, you're gonna hit it anyway. They have the same rules for most moto enduro events. Another factor that was pointed out to me is that your neck just has to support just that little extra weight, which could be all the difference even at low speeds. It might not be more damaging than a rock or stump, but why increase chances of injury.
  9. They seem to have the little nitrogen boxes hooked up to airlines at allot of Engen garages now, no idea how they work but its free. Will nitrogen leak faster or slower than air??
  10. Incase you're still wondering This is a tubless conversion This is S#@$
  11. Would you ever rather be one of those people though? We have a secret that nobody else could be bothered to hear.... bicycles are better
  12. If it gets you there, ride it. I found gears better for commuting, every now and then you find yourself leaving work with nothing in the tank, super low gearing helps for a sad chug home. Thats about the only thing i can think of that would swing me
  13. Track looks so beautiful. Really need one of those
