  1. Does it happen whenever you pedal, or only when standing? Might sound really dumb, but I once had a BB creak that turned out to be headset related (the noise happened only when I was standing).
  2. I have a similar issue... Always compensated by going for a bigger size than was necessary. A couple of weeks back I decided to bite the bullet and see someone who knows what they're talking about. The local Lake dealer met me to measure my feet and to try some shoes on (I was almost too wide for their widest option!). They were more expensive than I was hoping, but the quality seems good and customer service is exceptional. 10/10 can recommend Lake
  3. David, is there any way of viewing a running plot of efficiency (of each ride) in much the same way as we can view fitness, form etc. ? It could be interesting to see how this tracks with training blocks, life stress and so on.
  4. David, are the zones used in the totals calculations based on current ftp, or do they track with changes? I would assume that they track ftp changes, because you only show zone ranges as %, rather than absolute.

I asked him. It was only a 34! The guy is a machine!

I believe Thinus is on a dual sus (Sworks epic). That's what he rode to a 2:29 947, so the guy should have no trouble keeping up with Benky on the gravel sections! Edit: Poor quality photo
  8. Can you also please explain what negative decoupling means? I've seen this on a few occasions. Thanks again!
  9. Thanks. So relatively speaking, it is appropriate PS. great work!!
  10. David, may I ask how you define work vs recovery in the intervals (in terms of zones)? I did the trailseeker mtb race on the weekend and had quite a few recovery intervals in zone 4. This seems strange to me!
  11. I'm in the same boat. It seems like the chaps at Thaba have something coming up: https://www.cyclingsa-events.co.za/app/
  12. Have you tried running new shifter cables and cable outers? Old isn't always bad
  13. On the way to Suikerbosrand a few weeks back
  14. I called them up and was told that they don't know if they have spares. I was also told to try other shops instead of them (they are the local agent). My unit is an Elsa RS. The battery compartment is removable. It is not removable on the DZero
  15. I'm having the same issue. It also drains a battery over night. I have had the battery cover on and off so many times now that the thread on the cap or compartment has stripped Does anyone know where I could source a replacement battery compartment? Cape Cycles, the local listed distributor don't seem to want to help me... This is what I need (battery not included):
