    Yeah as long as the material is Sandvik and not from china it should be good. Have a spoke threader lying around somewhere, so can use that for length of really needed. To be honest in the past I got dt from crc but looks like they have stopped selling to SA

    Went this week, enjoyed it although some of the berm sections were overgrown with grass

    Bit nervous after a wheel built with other spokes had issues, ones I've built with DT have been perfect

    Agree that some skills advancement would be good. Had to stop for a turtle the other day, the four legged kind. Running a loud hub honestly helps too, but only with humans.

    What bike and what other components do you have? Like others already mentioned, wheels, tires, cranks, bars, fork, etc are usually easier places to save grams

    Make sure that your spokes are properly tensioned, loose spokes allow for the fatigue that David mentioned The spokes should also be evenly tensioned I bet the spoke that broke was on the side of the wheel with the shortest spokes, disk side for the front, casette side for the rear

    I use a big NW and a small ring for climbing, No front detailer. Friends laughed at first, now some have the same setup. Awesome for enduro, saves the legs for the decent

    I know a few guys are arranging parallel imports of components that sa distributors will not sell to online only stores, seems like the obvious solution, have seen this happens in a few industries already
