  1. I see in the rules (Frequently asked questions) that Gravel Bikes will not be allowed.
  2. Barry Stuart get yourself a Bell's. We need more posts like this.
  3. I bet you Uncle Chris of the famed CWC would have handled this differently. Then again he is a genuine fan of cycling, maybe Bike Addict just in it for the money. Nothing wrong with that, I just want a LBS willing to assist and not only respond postively when social media pressures mount. And yes, Bike Addict, that is what you did. Buckled like the chainring. Well done OP.
  4. Bike sounds perfect. Don't overdue it on expensive and flashy parts. It's the Epic, it is all about surviving today in order to ride tomorrow. Best 2 pieces of advise I got was: 1: ride within yourself, don't get caught up in the hype and sprint from the gun, unless you going for the win off course 2: you eat today for tomorrow. Don't overdue the gels and sweet stuff, eat as much natural foods as you can.
  5. Have been a Spez saddle fan for years now. Phenom was my go to saddle untill I got a POWER. Without a shadow of a doubt the most comfortable saddle I have ever owned.
  6. Like what you did there with the cable tie at the rear shock. If it's not patent might just try it ????

    The Munga 2016

Had saddle issues preparing for the Epic one year and so ditch the Fizik and went the Specialized saddle way, the Phenom. Problem solved. Try them, had NO issues what so ever.
  8. I had a Giant, replaced it with the Merida 120. Merida best buy ever. Well balanced bike and goes like stink as well.
  9. All good advise here. Don't forget to look at the TITAN range as well in that price bracket. Sister range of MERIDA and seriously good value for your money
  10. Like all ASG events it will now become heavily priced and mostly aimed at okes riding their overly serviced and overly price bikes twice a year, completely cutting out the "normal" MTB folk.
  11. I heard they put about 40ml in where us normal folks 120ml.
  12. OP the fact that you edited your original posting is a clear sign to ordinary people that you realised you posted in haste and then adjusted the post to make it more justifiable. Your original post suggested that the CEO of PPA did something wrong, when all he did was (according to your original post) was lobby people to vote. If this is true, then good for him and well done on getting people to the AGM in the first place. That's the way a democracy works. I find your original post unfair to parties involved and unfair to PPA and most probably misleading in some ways, therefore you saw the need to edit it. Be that as it may, there is a system set aside with regards to the EXCO of PPA, my suggestion would be take these 2 years, lobby some voters (that democracy thing again) and then if you feel things should be changed, drop your name in the hat and asked the people to vote. That way PPA will have even MORE people at the AGM.
  13. Come on! Should have kept this post for Friday! Isn't the OP bashing the PPA himself? Just asking.
