  1. Anyone know where the results are posted? Customized Timing apparently did the timing but they cannot be googled ( do they then exist)?
  2. Looking for a shock pump rated up to 500psi. Need it to service RS Monarch RL damper unit which needs to be pressurized to 500psi.
  3. I have a 2-man team entry available for the 15 August race. I also have accommodation booked in Willowmore for 3 people (team + driver). Nothing organized for Jeffreys Bay. Any interested parties please contact Stefan at Stefan.dutoit@saint-gobain.com
  4. Fantastic news! We can all do with some basic knowledge and some of the cycle shops will definitely benefit from qualified mechanics.
  5. I guess trying to fit XT shifters to Avid matchmakers will have the same fitment issues? Currently have SRAM but looking to switch to Shimano shifter to go 1x10 (only cause I have a long cage clutch rear deraillieur).
  6. You guys running standard 3-ring cranks with the single ring fitted as if it was the middle ring? Any Chainline limitations?
  7. Thanks for the advice. It was 2012!
  8. Need to service my fork, but oil volumes changed between the two years. Anyone know how to tell the difference between the two models? There was a change in the damper design and stantion length. Guy at Cape Cycles explained how to use the manufacturing code, but the linebwas not great.
  9. Small saddle bag on a mountain bike is called 'efficiency' and trust in your equipment. You only take 2 bombs and some plugs along for those 4 hour rides (if that was a road bike, it would be a different story)
  10. Thanks Spoke101. Unfortunately, it is not that specific 1-bolt system - the clamping mechanism is very different.
  11. Bought this seatpost from a fellow hubber, but cannot find the rail clamp torque in the Ritchey manuals. They only have the 1-bolt mechanism that works differently. The one in the photo has two cones that fit into the seatpost with the outside clamps pressing them inwards and clamping. Anyone knows what the torque should be?
  12. I see there is a tar road tonthe top of Mariepskop. Is it open to the public? Planning a trip to Swadini and also interested in knowing if there are some MTB routes around.
  13. I agree with your last comment droo - think they needed a "weak" spot to ensure something fails quickly. I used the plastic dust cover from my previous BB, shaped it to the correct thickness and used it in "reverse" as a spacer to keep the plastic cover from moving. Seems to do the trick but really wanted a better engineered solution!
