  1. Faaark, this is the best thread I have ever read!! Surely this must be a very early Aprils fool’s joke? How on God’s green earth do you let a hand full of cyclists piss you off so much that you need to film and complain about said people to the interweb?? I suggest a trip to your local Dr to get the carrot surgically removed or at the very least, some Prozac before you end of going postal and sending the static peloton to an early demise.
  2. Those are rookie numbers! You need to bump them up
  3. I build banking systems and RTC (real time clearing) or Express clearing is almost instance and governed by PASA. Wade it talking **** that the monies did not hit his account. Worst case scenario, it would have been flagged as fraudulent and the bank would have called either parties to confirm. In my mind, he was delaying.
  4. Ace Cycle's (AKA Emmanuel) is the BEST in the industry. Knowledgable, upfront and honest about all deals!
  5. I have had the "jetfuel" several times during race weeks and I feel a difference. Perhaps its placebo or just the extra hydration they give you! Who knows!
  6. Me again, so it seems this drama still isn't over... Took the bike to my LBS for a service and too tune the gears as I wanted to reconfigure the DI2. Turns out, the model of the shifters that Rikus advertised is incorrect as per the attached! Sent him a WhattsApp last week Wednesday to inform him as such and yet to receive a response. For the life of me, I dont understand how someone can be so absolutely intentional when trying to deceive their fellow hubbers. It absolutely blows my mind. I assume the chances of compensation or just an apology are remote so this is just another warning to anyone out there to always be weary when dealing with this individual. Username: Oepsie94 Name: Rikus Smit Thanks Luke
  7. Arno, no-one gives a **** about your opinions on this matter, specifically me! Forget about what I can or cant prove, the bottom line it's the right thing to do if he wants to continue selling "privately" and maintain his reputation.
  8. Anyways, thank you ALL for your opinions, advice, humor and guidance. This will now become a legal matter so as such I won’t be extending this thread any further.
  9. You forgetting about the cracked FD which was evident in the photos as well as the incorrect crank length which he got wrong. Also, test rode the bike around my 50m drive way to ensure the saddle was correct. It’s flat. Shifted maybe 1 gear up and down, that’s it. Next time, it broke after 5 min of being on the saddle. I think it’s harsh to assume it was me that damage it rather than it being frail before it was sent. Remember, something cracked the FD it could be extrapolated that it was in a impact which damaged both.
  10. Mate, I am hiding absolutely nothing! This is how the last few weeks have transpired too the absolute tee. You say I am arrogant? What the actual hell? All I am asking for is some fair compensation for items that broke after first use as well as payment for the crank which he got wrong. He agreed to all of this, but because I got angry, he has since changed his mind. With regards to CPA, watch this space. I will not let this go on pure principle. What would have cost him a few bob, will now cost a **** ton more as well as his reputation on this site and the cycling community from which he stems.
  11. This is all I was ever after. Fair compensation. Nothing more, nothing less.
