  1. True the fat tyres do make a difference but my bike is still comfortable with 42c gravel tyres on. On the old stiff frames they would sell you a kidney belt with those gravel tyres. 🤣
  2. Oooh ja ja 👌🏻 anybody have a 34t silver speedring for a tester 😂
  3. Yes but you have lots of power for me only pushing 20w I feel even just changing tyres 😂
  4. Unfortunately I'm in Cape town. Here's some pics in gravel, marathon and trail form 😂
  5. To my new rubber, may you miss all nails, glass, sharp rocks and only need replacing when bold or because I want to. 🤞🏻
  6. I've had dual's from most brands from light weight xc to enduro and I do see the appeal. Now I have not been on one that does not suck up some power going up and down instead of forward. Yes you can lock the suspension but what's the point of it then. Sold all and built my HT the way I wanted it and happier than a pig in 💩. The people against HTs still had a old HT that rattled jou stopsels los. The new HTs have great comfort and the new geometry is so capable. In which area are you? Maybe we can arrange a lekker test ride then you can decide before dropping money.
  7. I was thinking the opposite of this 😂 I'm 18 with 22 years of experience Weight more than the moon according to this forum and need to stop eating. 175cm Medium bike size UK 10 shoe size Very special according to my wife and mom 😜
  8. Or a Fuel EX with I think 8 or 10 pivot bearings. I would like to see where Rob gets good quality ss bearings at R40 a pop.
  9. That's why I returned to HT, I can replace my cassette, chain and every bearing and do the shock for less 😁
  10. The Titan cypher. I'll be first to admit when Titan started with "hi-end" bikes I said who wants to spend "real" money on a Titan. But as time passes and prices skyrocketed the Titan's value for money is unbeatable and having a brand actually interact with people has completely changed my mind.
  11. I would also say the Trek would be best all-rounder. You say XT groupset is that 10, 11 or 12spd? The Spaz sounds very tempting being 12spd and carbon but I think all that travel is going to climb like being on a trampoline, I might be wrong closest to that I have been on was a Reign and that was a tough 30 odd km's but it was also running on soft Minions.
  12. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/Yf59z5pxsPtC9crs/?mibextid=oFDknk New is not always better. Now I'm not entirely sure who they intend this for but I'll keep using my current setup 😂🤣
  13. Have you found one? Pretty sure I have one at work. Let me know
  14. Net iets wat baie mense miskyk en wat vinnig jou keuses kan limit is tyre clearance agter, veral met 'n HT is dit belangrik.
