Contact Garmin if you haven't found the owner yet. They are very helpful in contacting the owner (if the device is registered/linked to an account).

You can also look at the Garmin Varia. Slightly on the expensive side (relative I guess), but great visibility and you have the added benefit of radar prompting you when something is approaching from behind.

Thanks for sharing your experience. That was my plan - taking it as easy as possible. At the moment I'm drugging up and sleeping / lying in front of the TV - rinse repeat. Also hydrating and eating regularly (can't hurt with the recovery process). If I feel fine I'll look at doing a short / easy spin a week before CTCT and decide where to go from there.

Shot in the dark - if you want to query your seeding, where do you direct this to? Racetec? Has anyone on hub-land done this before? Asking for my father in-law. He is not happy being pushed to the Open groups, this being his 20th CTCT.
