  1. Glad to be of service Brogan! Thanks for the support!
  2. Hi Julien, if you find it still is not returning to your liking then we will gladly sort it out for you. Couple of things that causes that so bring the whole bike and we will make sure its butter.
  3. Yeah we messed up with not keeping OP updated. Need to do better!
  4. You are right our communication could be better. I was planning on touching base with you as I got the shaft back on Friday and not happy with how it fits so we are doing another. Our whole aim with this was to help out and save you from buying a new shock by making a quite intricate part to replace your shaft with a hairline crack that we did not pick up initially. Unless things have changed very recently those shafts are still not a part you can order, they do not exist on the spares list and the guys from RockShox confirmed to us that they are unavailable to order as a part. I do not make any money on this and doing it purely to help and our way of trying to make something work instead of scrapping it. Hoping we can have anodizing finished this week and have your shock back to you.
  5. Got some hydraulic lockout levers kicking about.
  6. Yeah if you need it for a couple of weeks that does amount to quite a lot Normally a 20km or so ride on varied terrain will provide the system with a good confidence score and show us what we need to know. For the price we normally do the fitment, calibration and setup etc for the client and then go through the results with you etc. If you just slap them on without proper setup you will not get accurate results. So its almost like a consultation. Happy to work with you on a weekly rate if you need that.
  7. Oil clinging to the inside of the fork lowers, shafts or migrated past seals or Sheikh in Middle East asked for his oil back. This is why we service these puppies. Your damper will probably need to be topped up as well and maybe check seals, make sure you get the oil volumes right.
  8. Which side did the 25ml come from? Could be that your damper dumped some through the seal head into the lowers.
  9. Maybe you already know this but make sure you equalise the air side correctly when playing with the spacers. If its not it could feel very harsh especially the first bit of travel. Pump to 50psi and push down slowly and you should here the air transfer then go up to your pressure and do that again. You might also want to try extend the fork completely with top-cap off to get it "reset" again.
  10. We see a lot of them in them in our workshop. As a rule I replace cables with every service and if required the housing too. Make sure the fork remote interface is clocked correctly. The shock has a stiff spring in the eyelet so that should not normally be the cause for the stick. The bend at the bottom inside the frame can sometimes cause issues otherwise some lube there in the form of waterproof grease. Check the levers and that the cable runs straight in there and there is no dirt etc causing stick. If you are in Gauteng will be happy to take a look for you.

  12. Had a look in my database and what I could see was that a 2016 model shock for your frame uses a Compression Medium, Rebound Medium and Climb Firm tune, what Droo recommended: CYKW: 2016, FLOAT DPS, P-S, A, 3pos SV, Silverback, Sprada, 7.250, 1.750, 0.4 Spacer, CM, RM, Climb F, Standard Logo 2018 I found one that has a digressive setup: DDNG: 2018, FLOAT DPS, P-S, A, 3pos Evol SV, Silverback, Sprada Trail, 7.25, 1.75, 0.2 Spacer, DCM, DRM, CMF, Standard Logo Changing to a remote will involve some new parts and require a new eyelet assembly but can be done. Recently did a remote to manual conversion for a customer and he is selling the remote stuff, PM me if you are interested.
  13. Official announcement probably next week but in the meantime shoot me a message if you are interested.
  14. I get this daily, give me a call and can help you if you can get the bike to PTA. 071 464 9221.
