Jamie the fedhealth today was a prime example . If they had followed your suggested starting order things would have been a whole lot smoother. Super frustrating out there waiting for back markers to walk up switchbacks etc etc

Any idea which wheels manufacturing BB is the correct one to upgrade to on the Scalpel SI ? I see CWC has a few on the site, im dead keen for this upgrade

Problem solved ! Took the rear triangle apart, cleaned and lubed all the pivots and through axles and put back together again . No more noise, no more play and bike feels amazing. This is a 6 month old bike and I'm convinced the LBS did not check and lube pivots before delivery , definetly a lesson learnt

Hi All, Ive picked up some play in my rear wheel and there is also a clicking sound when putting down the acceleration/power when sprinting. Its hard to pinpoint where the exact sound is coming from, but it seems it could be from the top pivot axle. If the pivot axles are not correctly lubed could this be causing the noise and play in rear wheel? If its not the pivots I thought it may be the hub bearings or something to do with the hub end caps? The rear wheels axle is tightened according to spec so that is definitely not where the play is originating from. I am taking it into my LBS for a thorough look through next week but was more interested if anyone has seen or experienced something similar ? IMG_1335_converted.wmv

Hi Guys, Im looking for some suggestions for a mountain biking weekend away anywhere in the Western Cape. Im based in Cape Town, so ideally looking to explore some rides outside the city. Ideally would like to be able to rent a house/cottage and take the family along as well. So far ive seen Garden Route trail park as a good option but its a bit of a drive. Does anyone know of any great spots near grabouw ; Citrusdel areas ?

Has anyone fitted a dropper to the new SI ? Wondering what the correct specifications would be. In the 2017 bike mag bible, they fitted a 170mm reverb and they "cant imagine the scalpel without it"
