For years now I've been riding with my cleats as far back as possible and my saddle as far forward as possible :-)

I think it also has a heavier flywheel that makes it feel a lot more realistic

WP is doing a great job of trying to lift the racing but we need more and/or harder racing. I think handicap racing like at Killarney might help but I'm not sure.

We also don't have enough "proper" CAT 1/A Batch Riders. I reckon at best we have about 5-10 Cat 1 riders at our local events and the rest of the CAT 1 riders make up the numbers. I don't have the answers but it's part of the reason why our guys get smoked when they get to Europe. Our racing is just not hard enough. I would like to see more handicap style Criterium racing and I think that would help.

Seeding should be based on ability and not age. You get a lot of old toppies without any ability. Don't blame the juniors. You can drop racetec/ppa an email if you're not happy with the seeding calculation.

He came dressed in kit and cycling helmet. Old skelm and he has been stealing bikes for years.

So this is how it all went down….. The hubber going by the name “Buy and Sell” is the suspected thief who stole the bike. He then tried to sell it on Gumtree. The ad on gumtree was spotted by a fellow hubber who then alerted Willetjies. The hubber sent Wieletjies all the necessary screen shots of the gumtree ad. The thief was a dumbass and it wasn’t too difficult to find his true identity. “Buy and Sell” got suspicions and was looking for a way out by pretending that he was the good guy “that wanted to return the stolen bike”. He actually already sold the bike and he then went and bought it back :-D so that he could try and wangle his way out of this. All this information was presented to the police and unsurprisingly we discovered that “Buy and Sell” has a long criminal record. He has since been arrested and the bike has been recovered. Hopefully this time he will be put away for a longer period. Thanks to the Bike Hub [stolen Bikes] section and to the hubber who spotted this on Gumtree.
